IOS 11 will lose support 32-bit applications
Not yet announced iOS 11 and subsequent versions of the mobile operating system from Apple will support a 32-bit application. This is evidenced by the new pop-up window warning that appeared in iOS 10.3 beta 1.
In 2013, iPhone 5s was the first device of the company that supports 64-bit applications. Two years later, Apple has ordered third-party developers to migrate to the new 64-bit architecture. Now the “Apple” Corporation and at all refuses to support 32-bit applications.
iOS 11 will lose support 32-bit applications
When you run 32-bit applications, latest version of mobile operating system from Apple output the warning about slowing down the smartphone or tablet. The contents of the popup message in iOS 10.3 beta 1 has changed dramatically:
«App needs to be updated. It will not be supported by new versions of iOS. The developer needs to update it».
End of support 32-bit programs had virtually no impact on the users. Most of the applications in the App Store are built on a modern architecture. The move to 64 bit fully justified — better performance for heavy games and programs.
Devices with 32-bit processor most likely will not get iOS 11. Thus, with the release of a new version of the mobile operating system life cycle iPhone 5/5s and iPad 4 is officially over.
