I can’t connect to the Total War: Arena game server
If you receive an error trying to connect to the Total War: Arena game server or chat, you will first need to check your internet connection. If it is working outside the game properly, you will need to open the following ports in your firewall, anti-virus, anti-virus software integrated firewall settings or your router.
- 80 Both protocols
- 443 Both protocols
- 5222 Both protocols
- 55563 UDP
- 55511 TCP
Please note, that in some cases opening the ports may also require you to contact a specialized technical support department of the router’s manufacturer or your internet service provider.
The server might be also undergoing a maintenance in which case you will be only able to connect after it is finished. Please be sure to check if that is not the case.
