What to do if after changing DirectX 11 to DirectX 12 in the game settings of Star Wars Battlefront II the game doesn’t work

Another problem in Star Wars Battlefront II faced by users is that players who switched in the settings of the game to DirectX 12, but their computer does not support it, they receive a hang of the game when they enter it. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that a simple reinstallation of the game does not solve the problem. There are 2 ways that you should help. Here they are:

Edit the file:

  • Go to \ Documents \ Star Wars Battlefront II \ settings
  • Open BootOptions via text editor
  • Change GstRender.EnableDx12 1 to GstRender.EnableDx12 0

Delete folder:

  • Move the “STAR WARS Battlefront II” folder from “C: \ Users \ UserName \ Documents \ STAR WARS Battlefront II “to the desktop
  • Restart the computer
  • Start the recovery tool
