The game Nioh: Complete Edition finally got to the PC. If you did not know, then Nioh is a game in the Slasher genre from KOEI TECMO GAMES, released for PS4 in February, and now got to the PC. But, as it always happens at the start, users began to face certain problems. Let’s analyze the currently known issues. But first, make sure that your PC meets the minimum system requirements of the game.

Minimum system requirements:

  • OS: Windows® 10 64bit, Windows® 8.1 64bit, Windows® 7 64bit
  • Processor: Intel® Core ™ i5 3550 and higher
  • RAM: 6 GB of RAM
  • Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 780 VRAM 3GB and higher AMD Radeon ™ R9 280 VRAM 3GB or higher
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Disk space: 80 GB
  • Sound card: 16 bit stereo, 48KHz WAVE file playback capability

If you are sure that your computer meets that requirements, then let’s move on to the analysis of problems that you might encounter when playing in Nioh.

Black screen at startup.

If you encounter a black screen problem when starting the game, then try downloading the latest version of Media Feature Pack for your PC and try launching the game again. The problem should be solved.

Unable to change the parameters in the game.

Some users have noticed the inability to change options in the game (resolution, full-screen mode, etc.). This is true, the settings changed directly in the game are not saved. The way out of this situation is to change the settings in the game launcher before launching it. In this case, they will be saved.

The game crashes.

If you are experiencing that problem with the game, then see if you have an update for KB2670838 for Windows installed. If not, then download and install it, and then try to start the game again. The problem must be solved.

We hope this article has helped you solve problems with your game.
