How to Fix Minecraft Error Code 1073740940
I modded my Minecraft, but now it generates an 1073740940 error every time I launch the game and when connectin’ to the servers. I installed a CurseForge modpack and that’s it, nothing works. Has anyone faced something like this? I have a 1.19.2. version of Minecraft.

- outdated version of Java;
- insufficiently allocated RAM;
- modifications that conflict with the game.
So, what can be done to get rid of error 1073740940? First, you need to update the Java version on your computer. Maybe you decided to play Minecraft on a newly installed operating system, and you haven’t had time to install the current version of Java yet.
You can also try to allocate a little more RAM for the game. Start the Minecraft Launcher and go to the downloads section. At the latest release, click on the ••• icon and select “Edit”. Go down to the JVM argument line and insert the value -Xmx4G or -Xmx8G (depending on the amount of RAM in your PC) into the empty line. Save your changes and run the game.
