Aim Assist and Character Interaction Broken

I’m unable to use aim assist making any fire fight devastating for me. Also I hold down LT to interact with shop keepers and the post office and mission givers but I never get a prompt to interact after that. Then in story mode when saving John the first time I’m unable to yell at the wolves or shoot at the wolves.
