Chrome “Virus detected” – what to do?
I can’t download files, every time it says “Virus detected”. Google Chrome just went crazy, won’t let me download a graphics program. Usually there is a button like “Download anyway”, but nothing here. To be honest, I’m not 100% sure the file is safe, but I think it’s still ok. The reviews said that everything works. Moreover, this is not the first time this has happened. Yes, and I have an antivirus installed, if there is a virus, it will cope. Is it possible to somehow download the file, despite all these prohibitions

Hello! Google Chrome checks downloaded files by default, taking care of user safety. If you do not need such protection, you can simply disable it. To do this, go to “Settings” – “Privacy and Security”, select “Security” and set the option to “Protection disabled”. Only you do this at your own peril and risk, so then without claims that you caught the virus.
