d3dx9_25.dll is Missing on Windows PC – How to Fix?
I wanted to play PUBG, but d3dx9_25.dll error keeps popping up. I recently reinstalled my system and switched from 7 to Windows 10. Installed the drivers for my graphics card, so I’m not quite sure what else the game might want. What’s the problem?
Solution
d3dx9_25.dll – this is a dynamic library, which is part of the DirectX distribution package for Windows OS. To fix the error, you need to:
- use the DirectX web installer;
- install DirectX libraries, which come with the game itself.
Regarding the latter, usually the DirectX installer can be found in the Redistributable folder in the root folder of the game you’re having trouble with, which in your case is PUBG.
