Dev Error 11557 in Modern Warfare 2 | Warzone 2.0 (SOLVED)
Dev Error 11557 appears when I launch Modern Warfare 2. And sometimes it even appears during the game. I’m not talking about the story campaign, of course, but the multiplayer. In short, after the new update is almost impossible to play. I wanted to reinstall the game, but… it takes up almost a third of my SSD. I changed my mind quickly. Any advice?

Dev Error 11557 currently appears for a large number of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 players. And all because of the recent release of a new update. You can get rid of this error, usually, by tweaking some game settings.
- Run Modern Warfare 2 | Warzone 2.0;
- open Settings→ Graphics;
- on the Quality tab, go to the more detailed settings of the On Demand Texture Streaming option;
- set the cache size to medium or even low.
Be sure to restart the game and see if the error was fixed. If nothing has changed, do not forget to update graphics drivers and Windows. Still no luck? Then wait for new patches and bugfixes from the developers themselves.
