Failed to reconnect to all network drives

Good day experts! Someone heard something about the error “Failed to reconnect to all network drives.” It crashes every time I boot up the operating system. In this case, everything works fine, without excesses. I think that the system is trying to connect to network drives even before Windows is fully loaded, hence the problem. Can something be done? Oh yes, I have Windows 10.

Solution

Good afternoon! Most likely you are thinking in the right direction. You can either turn off this notification, or force the connection to be made only after the OS is fully loaded. To delay initiating network drives, go to the “Group Policy Editor” (gpedit.msc) and follow the path: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates – System – Logon. Just enable the “Always wait for the network to initialize at boot and logon” setting. This is the best solution.

To just turn off the notification, you need to go to the registry editor. Next, you should go along the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider and create a parameter there with the name RestoreConnection and value 0.
