Error Ntdll.dll when playing games

An error with Ntdll.dll file appears in some games. I don’t know what happened, I don’t seem to have changed anything in the system. Nevertheless, now I can’t start some of the games I’m interested in. I tried to update video drivers but it doesn’t help at all. Installing Windows updates didn’t make a difference either. Would be nice if someone had some advice.

Solution

The ntdll.dll file error usually occurs when you run not the newest (rather old, actually) Windows applications. There are a few things you can do to prevent this error from occurring.

  • Run the problem application in compatibility mode with older versions of Windows, such as Windows XP or Windows 98.
  • In addition to compatibility mode, activate the option to run the application as an administrator.
  • Deactivate the operating system account control.
  • Install another version of the application.

Unfortunately, that’s all we can advise. We could suggest that you download a DLL file from somewhere on the Internet and register it on your system, but this is highly dangerous.
