RDR2 Online – INFINITE LOADING SCREEN

  • 0

Every time I load up the game, I am able to get into story mode no problem, but I get an infinite loading screen when trying to connect to online. Also, after about 4 seconds into loading, the sound goes out. Anyone has similar issue? Any solutions?

  1. So I did find a solution for any of those trying to connect from a PC. I was able to get back online once I deleted the monitoring app I had attached to my overclock app.

     Disabling Unnecessary Programs

    • Close the game and any launcher you may be using
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + ESC to open the Task Manager
    • Select the Process tab under Task Manager
    • Under the Apps section of the Process Tab
      • Select each program that is not the Task Manager
      • Press ALT + E to close the application
    • Close the Task Manager
    • Relaunch the game you were trying to play

If this does not resolve your issue, we suggest you perform a Clean Boot with only Microsoft and Rockstar services enabled to help diagnose the issue.Performing a Clean Boot on Windows 10
