Red dead online is still locked

Ever since the beta has been out,  I still haven’t been able to play. Everytime I start up the game,  all I see is “story” and “social club”. When I go on social club it says that there is a problem with my connection or I can’t connect to rock star services.  My connection works perfectly on any other game.  I have tried everything from restarting my router to redownloading the game and still nothing works. I know there has been problems like this on xbox but not on PlayStation. I can’t find any solutions to this problem. I appreciate any solutions given.
