‘Too many failed login attempts’ on the iFruit app?

I’ve done as told – signed in to the Social Club website, both via PC and via phone, and neither case has allowed me to ‘re-activate’ my account so I can sign in to the app. Even deleted it and reinstalled it a few times, nothing. Feel like this is a bit out of my control now.
