What should I do if I get the error code CHARLIE01 or CHARLIE02 when starting the game in The Division 2?

Errors with the names CHARLIE01 or CHARLIE02, mean one thing – you started the game without activating the EasyAntiCheat option. The error appears spontaneously when you see the above codes on the screen.

The solution to the problems of CHARLIE01 or CHARLIE02 is very simple and obvious to many: you just have to go to The Division 2, but before that enable the EasyAntiCheat function. How to do it right so that the game starts?

  1. Open the folder where The Division 2 is installed and click on the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe file. It needs to be activated, but on behalf of the administrator (in the menu, find “Run as administrator”).
  2. In the list of all the above, you need to select the game The Division 2 and right-click on the option “Help in recovery”.
  3. Click on ‘Start’ and in the search bar for files and programs, type in the phrase services.msc and click on ‘Enter.’
  4. In the tab that you open, find “EasyAntiCheat” and check that the type of program start is selected as “Manual”. If a different type of launch is introduced, we still recommend changing it for preventive purposes. To do this, click on “EasyAntiCheat” and select “properties”, after which we search and change the appearance of the “EasyAntiCheat” launch.

After this procedure, restart the game and watch the result. If The Division 2 still knocks out CHARLIE01 or CHARLIE02 errors, then check that your antivirus program suits the work of EasyAntiCheat activated in advance. Otherwise, simply add the game to the “exclusion list” or “white list” of your antivirus software.
