Why do I get error 740 when adding a printer?

Hello! Has anyone seen error 740 when trying to add a network printer on Windows 10? Even with admin rights, I can’t install a new printer. The message says:

“It didn’t work. We cannot install this printer right now. Please try again later or contact your network administrator for assistance. Error: #740.”

Update! We noticed a pattern that a similar error appears when connecting to a Canon printer on Type 3 PCL6 x64 drivers. However, connecting HP printers with Type 4 PCL6 x64 drivers works fine.
