Why does cldflt.sys BSOD appear on Windows 10?

Hello. With a certain frequency, close to 10 days, a blue screen appears. The SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION code is indicated there, but I understand that it is too general and occurs with different problems. As a clarification, I suggest this cldflt.sys file, which constantly appears in the message. What program does it belong to and what can be done to get rid of the annoying error?

Solution

Hello! The file belongs to OneDrive, so reinstalling said program might work. Only use the official website and the latest version. Another option is to edit the registry. You need to go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CldFlt\Instances and find the DefaultInstance parameter. In it, we change the value to CldFlt and save the change. After the procedure, a computer restart is required.
