Win32Bridge.server.exe Error on Windows 10 – How to Fix?

Uh, a Win32bridge.Server.exe file error appeared when I started the PC. I have a recently upgraded Windows 10. Till lately there were no errors, not even BSoD’s, but now this mess pops up every time I start my PC. How can I fix it?

The reason for the error Win32bridge.Server.exe is a malfunction of the virtual assistant Cortana. To get rid of the error, you just need to deactivate Cortana. This is done as follows:

  • press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring up Task Manager;
  • go to the Startup tab;
  • click RMB on Cortana and select Disable;
  • restart your PC.

Alternatively, if you’re using Cortana, you can try resetting the assistant app. To do this, do the following:

  • press WIN+I to go to Settings;
  • go to Applications→Installed apps;
  • Find Cortana in the list, click the ••• icon, and select Advanced Settings;
  • click the Reset button;
  • restart your PC.

Check for Win32bridge.Server.exe error. If the error persists, return to Cortana Advanced Settings and use the troubleshooter.
