How to Fix ‘Your profile was signed out’ in MW2 | Warzone 2
I got the message “Your profile was signed out”, when I tried to enter a Modern Warfare 2 game session. What profile we’re talking about – I don’t know. I haven’t logged into the game in a week, but it was fine before.
Typically, the error Your profile was signed out is encountered by Modern Warfare 2 | Warzone 2.0 players on PS4/PS5 and Xbox Series S|X consoles. You probably own one of these consoles too. There is no such error in the PC version of the games.
According to reports on the web, the error occurs when a player tries to connect to a lobby while being in a group with his friends. To put it simply, the error will not occur when connecting to a lobby with random players.
What to do? Do the following:
- restart the console completely;
- restart the router;
- delete game save data from the console storage;
- set voice chat to “All Lobby” mode;
- log into the game first under another profile, and then under yours.
As practice shows, some of the above should make the message Your profile was signed out disappear from Modern Warfare 2 | Warzone 2.0.
